The delegates first visited Feng Chia University (FCU) in Taichung on 7 May 2011. The two sister universities signed to renew the MoU between them for the second time. Professor Chuah signed the MoU with his counterpart FCU President Professor Dr Chang Pao-Long, which Professor Lee and FCU Vice President Dr Lee Bing-Jean signed as witnesses. Dato' Hou and Housing and Local Government Minister Dato' Chor Chee Heung were present at the signing ceremony. The two universities had been partners since 2005 and actively working together in research and development activities, and academic and student exchanges.
